Dr. Chang's participation to the AFKC's 2018 Future Leaders's Forum
The Australian Federation of Korean Communities (AFKC) held the 2018 Future Leader's Forum at the Australian National Univerisity (ANU) Univerisity House in Canberra on August 11.
The forum aimed to provide an opportunity for younger generation of Korean heritage to further assimilate into and actively engage in the Australia society, invited a number of honoured guests including the Hon Alan Tudge MP, Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs, Ms Elizabeth Lee, Assistant Speaker of ACT Legislative Assembly and other eminent politicians as well as leaders and executives from Korean community groups.
Among about 120 participants, Dr. Ilhan Chang has been nominated to join the forum as a Korean-academic to the Australian society. It has been a meaningful event for networking and discussions with those who would play leading roles in the mainstream society in Australia in future.
