Hectic triaxial tests for biopolymer-soils

The recent ordinary research life in E3GEO is working with triaxial tests.

With the sincere support of our technical staff Mr. James Baxter (Technical Support Group, UNSW), both static and cyclic triaxial tests are working appropriately.

Nowadays, we are evaluating the static anc cyclic responses of gel-type biopolymer treated sands.

Sojeong and John became experts on triaxial tests, which will become one of E3GEO's main experimental program for a while.

We are expected to deliver meaningful findings including the aseismic behavior of biopolymer-sand composites and possibility to enhance the liquefaction resistance of loose sands through biopolymer treatment.
